These are some bottles I found outside a shop near the canal, I enjoyed how many there were and the way they were stacked up the large steps and I knew I wanted to try to find a way of adding some colour and pattern to this dark and adult scene.
Site-specific work where I stuck lots of children's stickers onto the bottles, cans and gas canisters.
This was a quick piece only taking around an hour and I discovered ideas I am interested in taking further while creating it. I enjoyed making this art in public, I started feeling as if it was a performance, one that was undocumented and only happened for a short while. But the people walking by seemed curious and confused by my movements which I liked the impact of.
Because of this realisation, I am wanting to pursue a project exploring creating art in public and how that will affect the art I create.
During the creation of this project I met a Photographer, 'Mike Morrison' whom I am currently working with in collaboration creating portraits of me surrounded by the bottles.
